Founded in 1981 by Sam Burkett, Burkett’s Heating & Cooling was established to provide all customers the comforts of home. In 2019, Sam decided to retire and sold his business to his associate, Thor Penrod. As the owner of Burkett’s Heating & Cooling, Thor continues the tradition of providing the comforts of home to all residential and commercial customers.

Meet Thor Penrod: Owner & HVAC Expert at Burkett’s Heating & Cooling
Thor Penrod
Mr. Penrod is a lifetime Piqua, Ohio area resident and graduated from Piqua High School and Edison Community College in 2000. He completed the HVAC program, and obtained his certifications. Prior to HVAC Mr. Penrod was his father’s apprentice in residential construction for several years. Thor started landscaping as a young adult for residential and commercial businesses. Mr. Penrod started his first business in 2001 which still operates today.
